How much do you charge?

Central Physician Solutions, Inc. performs services based on a percentage of revenue collected. This percentage will vary depending on the size and specialty of the practice. Percentage can range from 5% - 10%.

Do I need to purchase practice management software?

No.

I already own practice management software, what are my options?

You are not obligated to buy or use our software. You may also scan, fax or courier billing information to us.

What software do you use?

We use GE Centricity Practice Management, a HIPAA compliant program. This is the program we have purchased to use and if you decide to go with our system we do have the capability of allowing you to dial in to your specific database within our system.

How will we send you the information you need to process our claims?

Central Physician Solutions, Inc. allows remote access to our server via a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection.

Options include:

  1. Automated EMR integration into Centricity
  2. Scan
  3. Fax
  4. Courier

Do you have EMR (Electronic Medical Record) capability?

Yes. GE offers an EMR that integrates with Centricity and we are capable of integrating with a wide variety of other EMR systems.

Where do my payments go?

A lock box service will be set up and your insurance checks will be directly deposited into your checking account. Explanation of benefits and copy of checks will be forwarded daily to Central Physician Solutions, Inc. billing office.

How do I pay Central Physician Solutions, Inc.?

An invoice will be sent to you on the 5th of each month after the previous month's accounting has been closed.

Yes. GE Centricity software is 100% HIPAA compliant.

What payers can Central Physician Solutions, Inc. process claims for?

We handle all insurance payers. Medicare, Medicaid, Champus, Tricare, HMOs, PPOs and private insurance.

Do you provide credentialing services?

Central Physician Solutions, Inc. partners with a local company for credentialing services.

Do you use a clearinghouse?

Yes, we use Availity, formerly known as THIN. Availity is the largest clearinghouse in the State of Texas and processes claims all over the U.S.

Will I receive reports?

We provide several different reports that will give you detailed information on your account. Reports are generated weekly and monthly. Custom reports are also available.

How often do you work aging accounts?

Aging accounts are worked on a continual basis. Each month you will be given a current status report on your aging.
